By browsing or accessing this site, you agree to be bound by the terms set out herein. We rarely make changes to our terms and conditions, but we may need to on occasion as the ecommerce industry continues to expand and evolve. You should regularly reviews these when you visit our site to ensure that you have read and agree with our most current terms and conditions. Any change in our terms and conditions will be effective immediately upon the change being made, but will not affect the past use of our site unless we are legally required to do so. The Fragrance Gallery prides itself on ts reputation for providing the highest quality products combined with the highest level of customer service. A great deal of effort goes into ensuring that our photographs and descriptions provide a realistic expectation of the products available through our website, resulting in a very high level of customer satisfaction. Any discrepancies in the colour of your item as compared to the one viewed on screen is due to the variance in colour settings of computer monitors and is beyond our control.
Ordering Information:
The products offered for sale on our website are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. Price and availability information is subject to change without notice. All orders placed are subject to confirmation and acceptance by The Fragrance Gallery, and we reserve the right to refuse to accept an order in whole or in part.
The Fragrance Gallery may vary prices for received orders in the event of price changes or mistakes made by suppliers. If this should occur, you will receive notification from us of the pricing error. You then have the option to cancel the order by giving notice to The Fragrance Gallery, which must be received within seven (7) days of the price increase notification.
All prices quoted on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are GST inclusive.
Refunds and Cancellations:
All returns must be sent back in the same condition as to which you received them. This means they must be undamaged, unopened and the outer box and cellophane (if any) must still be sealed. Once we have received the returned product in the condition stated above, your refund will be processed. You have the option of choosing a refund or a store credit. Products MUST be returned within 7 days of the purchase date and the return shipping costs are to be paid by the customer. If any of the above conditions are not met, The Fragrance Gallery reserves the right not to refund.
When sending your goods back to us, we recommend that you send them via courier with insurance and are sent back securely sealed inside a cardboard box to minimise any possibility of damage. Please contact us for further details or refer to our Refunds and Returns page before returning any goods as all returns must be authorised.
Any attempt to cancel an order must be done as soon as possible as we ship on a daily basis. We do not charge a fee for cancellations. However, if a cancellation is requested after the product has been despatched, you will required to pay the shipping and handing charges to return the item. Cancellations must be communicated to us by telephone, email or fax as soon as possible to prevent this from happening.
Shipping Information:
Customers are responsible for paying any freight charges incurred by refused shipment and unclaimed goods. The Fragrance Gallery cannot be held liable for delays or non-delivery of items. More information can be found on our Shipping page in regards to estimated shipping times and costs.
Important Notice: Most perfumes are flammable and are classified as a Class 3 Dangerous Good, therefore they have special labelling and transportation requirements. Any products containing Class 3 Dangerous Goods will be labelled in accordance with the relevant Australian dangerous goods legislation. Products are shipped using Australia Post who are licencsed under the appropriate act to carry Dangerous Goods. Under the Dangerous Goods legislation these items are not able to be posted via Express Post or International Mail via the Australia Post network and must be sent by ground transport only. We hold a Consumer Commodities Dangerous Goods Contract with Australia Post and we are therefore LEGALLY allowed to send perfumes via the Australia Post ground transport system. If you are in any doubt about laws and regulations pertaining to the transportation of perfume, please contact Australia Post and ask to be transferred through to the Dangerous and Prohibited Goods department for further information.
For the reasons stated above, we are unable to post perfume internationally. All products that are classified as dangerous goods are available to Australian customers only.
